Received the New Energy Foundation Chairperson’s Award (Regional Symbiosis) at “New Energy Awards 2023”
We received the New Energy Foundation Chairperson’s Award (Regional Symbiosis) at “New Energy Awards 2023”, which is an awards system by New Energy Foundation.
On Wednesday 31 January, the award ceremony was held in Tokyo and Keiji Okagaki, President and CEO, was present. At the ceremony, Mr. Nobuaki Terasaka, Chairperson of New Energy Foundation, greeted the participants and Mr. Hiroo Inoue, Director-General, Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy Dept. of Agency for Natural Resources and Energy, made a congratulatory address.
The awards system has been established to encourage the acceleration of the expansion on new energy and is to award prizes to outstanding initiatives or projects among various products or activities in relation to new energy.
Our project was awarded in recognition of high evaluation on our project in collaboration with the local society and on regional symbiosis through the local procurement and the utilization of local human resources.
We will continue to make efforts to contribute to the local society through stable operation of Akita and Noshiro offshore wind farms.
