Made a speech at Award Commemorative Seminar of “Port of the Year 2022” for Akita Port
On Wednesday 5 April, KEIJI OKAGAKI, President and CEO, made a speech at Award Commemorative Seminar of “Port of the Year 2022” for Akita Port held at Akita Castle Hotel.
The seminar was hosted by Akita Chamber of Commerce and Industry for the purpose of commemorating the award by Ports & Harbors Association of Japan of “Port of the Year 2022” for Akita Port and was followed by the celebration where approximately 80 persons were present including Norihisa Satake, Governor of Akita and Motomu Hozumi, Mayer of Akita City as guests. The various proactive initiatives towards SDGs at Akita Port including the construction of Japan’s first large-scale offshore wind farm were highly evaluated.
We are willing to contribute to the vitalization of Akita Port through stable operation of the offshore wind farm at Akita Port.
