Held the Completion Ceremony and the Completion Commemoration Reception
On Thursday 23 March, we held the completion ceremony and the completion commemoration reception in Akita Prefecture in commemoration of the completion for Akita Port and Noshiro Port offshore wind farms which already started commercial operation.
The completion ceremony was held at Noshiro City Culture Hall and was attended by approximately 300 persons in total. At the ceremony, a number of persons concerned in Akita Prefecture including Norihisa Satake, Governor of Akita, Shigenobu Saito, Mayor of Noshiro City and Motomu Hozumi, Mayer of Akita City participated as guests.
The completion commemoration reception was held at ANA CROWNE PLAZA AKITA and was attended by approximately 340 persons in total. At the reception, in addition to the persons concerned in Akita Prefecture, Katsutoshi Kaneda, a member of the House of Representatives, Nobuhide Minorikawa, a member of the House of Representatives, Osamu Horita, Director-General Ports and Harbours Bureau, Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, and Hiroo Inoue, Director-General Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy Dept., Agency for Natural Resource and Energy participated as guests. The reception was held in a large scale with the persons concerned in this project gathering from all over the country.
We will continue to make efforts on coexistence and coprosperity with the local community through stable operation of both offshore wind farms for 20 years.
