About the occurrence of novel coronavirus infectious disease patients (7th Report)
Please be informed that additional 1 worker (32 in total) was revealed to be test positive
in the Akita-Noshiro offshore wind power, “AOW” project.
Onboard workers both test positive and negative were quarantined in a quarantine facility and medical care has been employed under the direction of the public health center and parties involved. Most patients have already finished treatment, and workers who tested negative have been confirmed to be able to resume work by medical experts. Under this situation, AOW is to resume the work soon after ensuring the safety of all onboard workers and persons involved is secured.
AOW takes this occurrence of infection seriously and will do all efforts to prevent the spread of infection and secure the safety of all parties involved as our top priority. Again, we deeply apologize for the concern and inconvenience to everyone in the communities and related parties. We appreciate your understanding.
