Made a speech at the Symposium on Offshore Wind Power Generation at Akita Port
On Saturday 27 February, KEIJI OKAGAKI, President and CEO, made a keynote speech on our project at the Symposium on Offshore Wind Power Generation at Akita Port held at Akita City Cultural Center.
The Symposium was hosted jointly by Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLIT) and Akita Prefecture for the purpose of widely announcing the significance of promoting offshore wind power generation and the ripple effect on regional economy and was attended by approximately 70 participants.
At the beginning, opening remarks were made by Mr. Satake, Governor of Akita Prefecture and Mr. Takada, Director-General Ports and Harbours Bureau of MLIT. Then, guest remarks were made by Mr. Hiroyuki Togashi, Member of the House of Representatives, Mr. Miura, Chairman of Akita Chamber of Commerce and Industry and others.
After the keynote speech, the panel discussion was held among the following members to discuss how to create offshore wind related industries in Akita Prefecture and others.
