Donation Ceremony Held for Akita City
On January 29, 2026, a ceremony to present our donation to Akita City was held at Akita City Hall. From our company, President Inoue and General Affairs & Human Resources Director Iwaya attended. From the city, Mayor, Numaya, Director of Akita City Omoriyama Zoo, Honma, Director of New Energy Industrial Promotion Office, Shinde, and other staff members from the Industrial Development Promotion Division.
Following on from last year, our company donated funds to three projects: the Akita New Energy College, which offers facility tours and lectures for university students in the city; GOWS (Global Offshore Wind Summit), Japan's leading comprehensive offshore wind power event; and the Akita RE High School Expo, an event for high school students, parents, and teachers in the city and surrounding cities. We also registered for the Omoriyama Zoo Animal supporter system*, as we did last year.

At the ceremony, Mayor Numaya stated, "Wind power will continue to be an important industry among new energy sources. The donation will be used to support wind power-related events held in the city."
We are grateful for the opportunity to continue our business in Akita City, and we will continue to work to foster the next generation of talent and disseminate information about our wind power projects through events and other activities within the city.
