Donation Ceremony Held for Noshiro City
On January 19, 2026, a ceremony to present our donation to Noshiro City was held at Noshiro City Hall.
From our company, President Inoue and General Affairs & Human Resources Director Iwaya attended. From the city, Mayor Saito, Superintendent of Education Takahashi, and staff members of the Environmental Industry Department were present.
Following on from last year, our company has decided to make donations to contribute to the development of the next generation of talent and the revitalization of the local community by donating funds to three areas:
- The maintenance and management of the former Kaneyu traditional restaurant building,
- The purchase of books related to wind power generation for the Noshiro Library, and
- The purchase of musical instruments for elementary and junior high school brass bands.
In addition, with the cooperation of Vestas Japan co. ltd, we have also donated an offshore wind turbine model to the Noshiro Library.
During the ceremony, Mayor Saito expressed his appreciation, noting that wind power generation is an essential industry for Noshiro City and that our contributions to the local community are greatly valued.
Our offshore wind power operations in Noshiro are now in its fourth year of operation, we will continue to prioritize safety in our operations and strive to contribute to the local community.
