Attended the kickoff meeting for Wakasugi no Sato Scholarship
On 14th December, a kick-off meeting for next-term students of “Akita Prefecture Dispatching High School Students to Study Abroad Project – Wakasugi no Sato Scholarship” was held at the Akita Cultural Creation Center and we joined this meeting. At this kick-off meeting, 4 students, who are going to have a long-term study abroad from May 026 the lectures about the details of this program, id the several activities and make wish list with all participants.
From 2023, we have been donating to the “Akita Prefecture Dispatching High School Students to Study Abroad Project – Wakasugi no Sato Scholarship” every year. This project is a long-term study abroad support program for high school students in Akita Prefecture, run by students from Akita International University who belong to the Akita Prefecture High School Study Abroad Promotion Committee, an official student organization of Akita International University, and provides high school students in Akita Prefecture with the opportunity to study abroad for about 10 months.
Through donations to scholarships like this, we will continue to contribute to the development of the next generation of global talent who will be active in Akita, Japan, and the world in the future.
