Lecture given at Akita New Energy College
Our Inoue, President and CEO, lectured at the Akita New Energy College held from 27th to 29th August. On 27th August, he gave the lecture titled “Introduction to the Offshore Wind Power Generation Project at Akita and Noshiro Port” ad “Regional Revitalization Using Offshore Wind Power”. And participated in the group work session on 29th August.
These lectures were a part of the Akita New Energy College organized by Akita City Council and held mainly for the university students within and outside Akita Prefecture. The purpose of the lectures was to help students better understand and become interested in our offshore wind power generation project. Especially, the lecture on “Regional Revitalization Using Offshore Wind Power” was intended to help students think about the topic of “Renewable Energy X Akita City; Let’s think about the regional revitalization using renewable energy suitable to Akita City ! ” of the group work session newly introduced from this year at the Akita New Energy College.
We will continue to take these types of opportunities to help the students, who will be the leaders of the future, deepen their understanding and interest on the offshore wind power businesses, as well as to support the development of local human resources and regional revitalization.
