Gave a lecture at a course on chief electrical engineers
On Tuesday 4 February, the chief electrical engineer of our company gave a lecture at Akita Prefectural Yokote Seiryo Gakuin High School.
This course was planned as part of the "Wind Power Generation Maintenance Human Resources Development Project" that Akita Prefecture has been implementing since 2016, with the hope of utilizing local human resources and creating jobs by quickly training electrical engineers as renewable energy becomes more widely used in the prefecture. This time, the lecture was on the theme of “The work of chief electrical engineers and its relationship to offshore wind power generation”. The second-year high school students from the electrical information course of the department of general technology were able to learn about the daily operations of our power generation, to feel more familiar with and take a greater interest in offshore wind power, which is gaining momentum with their hometown of Akita as a pioneer.
We are willing to keep positively contributing to the development of human resources leading the next generation through various opportunities such as this.
