Mr. Keiichiro Asao, Minister of Environment, visited Noshiro Offshore Wind Farm
On Wednesday, 27th November, Mr. Keiichiro Asao, Minister of Environment, visited the Hamanasu Observatory to view Noshiro Offshore Wind Farm which has been in commercial operation since December 2022.
Soichi Inoue, President and CEO of our company, explained the outline and activities of the company toward the Minister. Minister Keiichiro Asao confirmed stable operation of Japan’s first large-scale offshore wind farm at the site.
He listened attentively to our company's business and asked questions about its impact on the environment (fish, birds, etc.) and its contribution to the local community.
We will continue to make efforts to contribute to the local society together with the local community through the stable operation of Akita and Noshiro offshore wind farms.
