On Friday 13 September, we hold a joint rescue training among Japan Coast Guard 2nd Regional Coast Guard, Sendai Air Base and Marubeni Offshore Wind Development.
The rescue training was based on the assumption of an accident in which a worker falls over at the bottom of the foundation of an offshore wind turbine, and confirmed the procedure for quickly transporting the injured on a stretcher in a narrow space. It was the first time that rescue training was conducted with Japan Coast Guard at Noshiro Port since the start of operation in December 2022.
We will make further efforts to continue a stable operation on the principle of safety first in collaboration with the relevant parties.
